The purpose of this course is to assist humanitarian practitioners to take the necessary steps to operationalize the protection of beneficiary data in programmes using electronic transfers, or e-transfers. This shall be done by sharing case studies and experiences from a number of organisations and sector specialists that highlight the risks, challenges and emerging solutions.
This course will help humanitarian practitioners take the necessary steps to operationalize the protection of beneficiary data in programmes using electronic transfers or e-transfers. Through the use of case studies and accounts from a number of organisations and sector specialists, humanitarians will learn about the risks, challenges, and emerging solutions.
The course complements the guidance produced by CaLP in 2013 "Protecting Beneficiary Privacy: Principles and operational standards for the secure use of personal data in cash and e-transfer programmes."
